Are We Real ?
The Story of the Successful Christian's life is one of faith and victory. One of confrontation, conquest and one of trials and triumph. The moment that you and I received the Lord Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we entered into a battle that has been going o since the beginning of time. We have an an enemy that is out to steal, kill and destroy. He is out to take everything that God has given us. The way that we conquer and overcome our enemy is through faith in the presence, power and faithfulness of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus said that He came so that we may have life and have it more abundantly.
Luke 12:32 states: "Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom." When God gives us the kingdom, He also gives us the kingdom blessings that go with the kingdom. However, the devil does not want us to have or enjoy the kingdom or the kingdom blessings. You might ask, what is the kingdom of God? God's Word says in Romans 14:17: "For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit." The kingdom of God is not just about eating and drinking. It is about living life and living it to it's fullest. It is about living an abundant life that you can share with others. In fact, others can draw from your well and be refreshed and renewed, because you are living the overflowing abundant life of God in Christ Jesus.
As we work in our chosen field, we see all matters of evil and disappointments come from leaders and workers alike. But God who is faithful will deal the last card to all believers and unbelievers as needed. Nobody gets away in the end. Matthew 10:28 says, "Fear not them, which kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell."
If you look around you will see that it is going to get worse before it gets better. People are lying in the name of God. Ask yourself, is God ruling in your life, and if not, it's time to let Him in. We read in John 3:5-8: Jesus answered, "I assure you, unless once is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. Whatever is born of flesh is flesh, and whatever is born of the Spirit is Spirit. Do not be amazed that I told you that you must be born again. The wind blows where it pleases, and you hear it's sound, but don't know where it comes from or where it is going."
My prayer for all during these trying times we call the last days, let us draw near with a true heart and surrender our soul onto the Lord Jesus Christ.
